Getting started with Garita.

First steps, the permissions each module asks for and the available commands. The permissions table is generated from the module registry in the code itself.

Getting started

Get access
Press “Add to Discord” and choose your server. Discord will show you the permissions it requests.
Place Garita’s role
In Server Settings → Roles, move Garita’s role above the roles it should manage. Discord does not let a bot act on roles above its own.
Open the dashboard
Sign in with your Discord account and pick the server you want to configure.
Enable what you need
Each module lists the permissions it is missing before it can be enabled. Start with security.
Start in observation mode
The honeypot starts by recording without sanctioning. Once you have reviewed what it logged, arm it with /honeypot enable.

Permissions and intents per module

Bot permissions each module needs in order to act, and the gateway events (intents) it listens to. Garita checks permissions before enabling a module and before every action.
