    The public contact channel is being set up and will be published here. There is no official support server or email yet: be wary of anyone claiming otherwise.

  • Were you sanctioned by Garita?

    Garita applies the actions each server’s staff configure; it does not decide on its own whom to sanction. If you think it was a mistake, contact that server’s staff. The honeypot warning shows their appeal link when they have set one.

  • Something not working?

    Check the status page first: it shows what the processes report in real time.

Frequently asked questions

Is Garita free?

Security modules will always be free. There will be paid plans that raise community and automation limits; nothing is charged today.

Which permissions does it ask for?

Each module declares only the permissions it needs, and the dashboard warns about missing ones before enabling it. The full table is in the docs.

Does it read my messages?

Only modules that need it process content (for example automod or tickets). The honeypot does not read content: it only needs to know someone posted in the trap channel.

Can it detect alt accounts?

Not reliably: Discord gives bots no IP addresses or device data. We offer an account-age filter and explainable signals, and we call it what it is.

How do I ask for my data to be deleted?

Through the contact channels on this page. While the process is being defined, requests are handled manually.
